March 27, 2010 - 2:32PM 3/15/2010-Diabetes: It's Not Just About Insulin, presentation given by Beth Nardacci, FNP-BC, BC-ADM, 5/13/2010-U500 Regular insulin presentation given by Shannon Thompson, MS, PA-C, CDE (CEUs will be given) in Slingerlands Hall @ The Albany Memorial school of nursing. 6/8/2010-Gestational Diabetes, a joint presentation with Hudson Valley Dietetic Association (HVDA) given by Pat Severson-Wager, MS, RD, CDN, CDE, Nutrition Faculty, Sage Colleges and Marie Schongar, FNP-C, The program will be @ Slingerland Hall @ the Albany Memorial School of Nursing BC-ADM, CDE (CEUs will be given)3/15/2010-Diabetes: May or June, 2010-Victoza presentation given by Jill Abelseth, MD sponsored by Novo Nordisk (0 CEUs) Still in the planning stages is a return presentation by the Defy Diabetes Nurse Champion/CDE partnership in primary care to share their outcomes from their grant in May or June, 2010. (CEUs will be given) On September 23rd, we will be having a program that will have each pump company explain their pump and/or sensor reports. (CEUs will be given) Then, in November, we will be looking to have a presentation on steps to become an AADE recognized program. (CEUs will be given) The Goodman Symposium will be October 20, 2010, we hope that you will be able to attend this, as well. |
